Other attorneys tend to favor mediation and more collaborative approaches to resolving cases. You’ll want to find an attorney who is willing and able to handle the case in a way that you will be comfortable with throughout the process.

Along with their approach to resolving cases, you’ll want to know how the attorney handles communication. Will they be available to answer questions? Will you only ever be able to speak to their assistant? It’s important to have a lawyer who will be available to discuss your questions and concerns and will be responsive to opposing counsel.
